Kathryn (KC) Stockmon, MS, RD, LDN, CNSC
Welcome! I'm KC, a Registered Dietitian here to help athletes to fuel confidently, improve their relationship with food, and focus on what really matters: eating and enjoying your food. Like many of us, I am fed up with our medical system and sports culture's misdirected focus on weight as a measure of our health and performance potential. I believe that the constant pressures in our society to restrict our diet under the guise of "health" are making us sicker and more unhappy. Food should be enjoyed, not feared. I want to help you find food freedom and accomplish your goals!

After years of experience across a wide range of clinical settings, including hospitals and outpatient clinics, supporting individuals with eating disorders, athletes, children and adolescents, and those managing conditions like diabetes, heart disease, and digestive disorders, I provide nutrition care that is evidence-based, compassionate, and designed to fit your real life.

As a lifelong athlete myself, I have experienced many ways that improper fueling can get in the way of performance and enjoyment of sports. Too many times, despite being so motivated to improve, I was derailed by low blood sugar and poor energy which led me to hit a wall before games and practices were over. My mission is to help athletes of all ages and abilities feel their best while working toward their goals - whether that is elite performance or just enjoying your time participating in the sport you love.

I am committed to helping you relax and enjoy the process of deciding what to eat, how and when to prepare it, and the act of eating itself- it doesn't have to be stressful or difficult! After years of seeing how our toxic diet culture and obsession about food and our bodies takes a toll on us, I want to help create a world where we can all enjoy our food, be happy and healthy, and perform our best on and off the field.

More About Me
A New Englander through and through, I was born and raised in Connecticut and after 10 years living in Boston, moved back home to Mystic, Connecticut after welcoming my first child in 2025. Aside from getting to work with amazing clients, the second-best part of my career is the fact that I get to keep learning and growing in the field of nutrition. I truly enjoy participating in ongoing training, and staying up to date with the latest research and practices for myself and my clients. When I'm not working or training (I'm definitely partial to endurance sports), you'll most likely find me at the beach or in the mountains with my husband, my son Owen, and my dog Charlie, experimenting in the kitchen, or planning a trip to somewhere new!
